Waiter raped 2 British tourists

A MOROCCAN waiter jailed for 23 years for raping and trying to kill a British tourist in Magaluf has confessed to another sex attack on a British woman.

Mohamed Fadel el Anssari, 33, attacked the then 21-year-old in 2008 in the Majorca holiday resort, leaving her for dead after stabbing her in the neck, throat and chest. He was jailed in 2013 using DNA evidence. Police believed Fadel was responsible for a number of violent sex attacks.

Yesterday Fadel was given a nineyear jail term after confessing to raping a British tourist in August 2010.

He admitted finding her the worse for wear outside a pub, and taking her to a nearby beach. He told a court in the Majorcan capital Palma: ‘I want to say sorry and try to move on.’
