Wage war on PC brigade

-

AN ARMY survey (Mail) found 40 per cent of women soldiers (4 per cent of all troops) have received unwelcome demands (presumably 60 per cent welcomed them) of which 13 per cent were classed as sexual harassment and 3 per cent were officially reported.

It looks as if someone is wasting scarce resources, seeking to expose a non-existent problem.

While traditional regiments and brigade numbers are being cut, the ‘PC brigade’ is flourishing, undermining the unique military culture and traditions which make the British Army the most admired in the world.

Our enemies must be laughing their heads off, reading about all this navelgazing. That laughter must turn to convulsions on hearing an Army general, instead of devoting every waking hour to planning campaigns, is pandering to the PC brigade by devising a strategy to turn the Army into an ‘inclusive’ employer.

This is the crux of the problem. We have a political class completely ignorant of military matters and, since Blair, appointing only people with the right PC credentials to the highest echelons of command. The cream of the military crop, having distinguished themselves on the battlefield, saw the lie of the land and got out.
