Yobs attack Leeds fans

THERE were shameful scenes as Leeds United fans were attacked by Eintracht Frankfurt hooligans after a pre-season friendly in Austria. Local police blamed supporters from the German club for starting the trouble, which led to 25 arrests and left a number of fans bloodied and bruised. About 100 Frankfurt supporters, some wearing balaclavas, confronted a group of Leeds fans on the pitch following the German club’s 2-1 win. The rival fans exchanged kicks and punches moments after the players had left the pitch at the stadium.
