NEW COMEDY Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp, Season 1, Netflix

THE new prequel series to Wet Hot American Summer, the 2001 movie spoof of summer-camp comedies. It has an excellent cast, including Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and John Slattery (Mad Men), to name a few, and some superb comedy set pieces — but it can feel a bit rudderless at times.

DELICIOUSL­Y bitter black comedy from Norway, starring Atle Antonsen (a big name in his homeland) as a relationsh­ip counsellor who usually urges his clients to separate. He lives alone in a man palace where he can hoover crisps off his chest with impunity; then, the arrival of his matchmakin­g sister has him reaching for the Valium — again.

BRIDE PRIDE Say Yes To The Dress, 9pm, TLC

FASHION director Randy Fenoli (pictured) is back for a new series following the fortunes of a bridal boutique in Manhattan. Tonight, more brides go over budget (surely not), and another wants a dress she can wear with cowboy boots.

AS DARK a thriller as you’d expect from David Fincher (Se7en), adapted from Gillian Flynn’s bestseller. Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck are the once happy couple playing twisted games.

THIS classy take on the story of George VI took home four Oscars. Colin Firth stars as the stuttering king, while Geoffrey Rush is the impertinen­t Aussie who attempts to cure him.

CULT COMEDY Bored To Death, 12.40am, Sky Atlantic

THE final series of the cult comedy continues with Jonathan scheduled to appear on a TV talk show, and getting conflictin­g advice from George and Ray on how to cross his legs — but soon, that’s the least of his worries.
