‘every year on this date, the eve of the anniversary of our mother’s death, I get a mad i nflux of strangers requesting an FB “friendship”.
‘ If you don’t actually know me, please don’t bother trying to add me. especially for such disgustingly suspect reasons given the timing,’ continued Fifi, who is engaged to ‘sand artist’ Andrew Robertson.
‘My having a well-known surname and you being nosy isn’t valid reason for us to be cyber-friends — quite frankly, it’ s f *** i ng weird/ si ck/ insensitive/unkind behaviour and I’m totally bored of it.’

Her sister Peaches, who died last Apri l , aged 25, of a heroin overdose, was also a prolific user of social media.
last September, publicity- shy Fifi revealed she suffered from depression and battled drugs and alcohol following her mother’s death.
‘It was very, very hard for a long time. I got through my A- l evels and absolutely lost my s*** for about a year,’ she recalled.
‘There was a lot of drinking and drugtaking. I was a silly, hurt, stupid, reckless teenager.’ photographer and blogger Em, 21. ‘By hiring the 17-yearold, Victoria is not doing anything “legally” wrong; morally, I think, she’s doing something terrible. ‘Knight has been a model since the age of just 11, which means that this life is all she has ever known. not only will she be subject to the normal stresses of teenage life, but by being thrown into this unforgiving spotlight she is facing more pressure than should ever be put onto a teenage girl.’
