TV queen Liz sails off with a real royal
SHE may only play a fictional queen in the TV series The Royals, but in real life, actress Elizabeth Hurley likes to hang out with the real deal.
The 50-year-old, who plays Queen Helena in a show depicting the debauched lives of the British royal household, posted this picture on Instagram yesterday in which she reveals a very unlikely holiday companion — the former King of Greece (and Prince William’s godfather), Constantine II.
Revealing her bronzed physique in a strapless white dress, Liz posed next to the 75-yearold on a boat in Greece. ‘All Hail! Faux Queen sails with real King,’ she writes. ‘A wonderful and fascinating day spent with the heavenly former King of Greece. Swoon.’
Constantine II was exiled from his home country after a referendum on the return of democracy in 1974, after which he and his wife Anne-Marie moved to London. Two years ago, he moved back to his homeland where — evidently — he enjoys hosting his pseudo royal pals.
