ICT v Aberdeen

-

ABERDEEN will look to extend their winning run in the league against Inverness and will feel confident of doing so, despite their midweek loss to Hibs in the League Cup. This is the 21st meeting between the two teams at the Caledonian Stadium and Aberdeen have won 12 of the last 20 matches between the sides.

Dundee v Ross County

THIS is only the 35th match ever between the two, with County coming out on top in 12 of those compared to Dundee’s 10. Last season, County went unbeaten against the Dens Park men, winning two of their three league meetings and the Staggies have not lost to Dundee since April 2011.

PROBABLE TEAMS: DUNDEE (4-3-3): Bain; McGinn, McPake, Etxabeguren, Holt; Thomson, Ross, Harkins; Loy, Hemmings, Stewart.

ROSS COUNTY (4-4-2): Fox; Fraser, Boyd, Robertson, Reckord; Gardyne, Woods, de Vita, Franks; Boyce, Graham.

Referee: Craig Thomson.

Kilmarnock v Hamilton

THERE does not appear to be a good chance of goals in this match as there was only one in the first three fixtures last season combined. However, the final meeting was a 3-2 triumph for Accies, so there does remain some hope for a flurry of strikes in this match.

PROBABLE TEAMS: KILMARNOCK (4-2-3-1): MacDonald; Ashcroft, O’Hara, Balatoni, McHattie; Slater, Hamill; Higginbotham, Kiltie, Obadeyi; Magennis.

HAMILTON (4-2-3-1): McGovern; Gordon, Garcia Tena, Tagliapietra, Kurakins; Gillespie, Docherty; Imrie, Crawford, Kurtaj; Morris.

Referee: Don Robertson.

Motherwell v Partick Thistle

ADVANTAGE usually lies with the home side when these two meet, as Motherwell have won 43 of 93 matches at Fir Park and Partick victorious in 47 of 91 at Firhill between these two. Motherwell have not lost to Partick at home since January 1996, so it looks like the Jags’ winless run will continue.

PROBABLE TEAMS:

MOTHERWELL (4-4-2): Ripley; Law, McManus, Kennedy, Chalmers; Ainsworth, Lasley, Grimshaw, Johnson; Moult, McDonald.

PARTICK THISTLE (4-2-3-1): Cerny; Dumbuya, Frans, Seaborne, Booth; Osman, Bannigan; Welsh, Lawless, Muirhead; Doolan.

Referee: Steven McLean.
