Stuffy States far from a pushover

- By Douglas Cumming

DON’T get too carried away by Scotland’s thumping midweek victory over Japan in the Rugby World Cup. Remember, it was only 12-10 early in the second half and the men from the East simply ran out of steam after their heroics against South Africa just four days earlier in Brighton. The Scots played a smart match but will find the United States far stuffier opponents tomorrow at Leeds United’s Elland Road. Vern Cotter has made 10 changes in his starting XV and it could take time for them to assert their superiority. Go for a SCOTLAND win margin of 11-20 points ( 12/5, Bet Bright). Tonight’s Pool A clash of the big beasts at Twickenham is sure to be tight, taut and tense, so expect ENGLAND to beat a Wales side sadly missing some of their best players through injury by a margin of 1-10 points ( 15/8, Paddy Power).
