Hot legs... Penny’s on the front foot
SHE may be married to one of the world’s most famous rock stars – but Penny Lancaster is not slow at stepping into the spotlight in the absence of husband Rod Stewart.
The 44-year-old model brought a little glamour to the occasion with a daring, lace-trimmed black cocktail dress and elegant stilettos which made the most of her long legs as she arrived for the National Reality TV Awards, held at London’ s Porchester Hall on Wednesday night.
Her 70-year-old husband, whose hits include 1978’s Hot Legs, chose to give the event, which celebrates the best of reality television, a miss.
But Penny, who is an occasional presenter on ITV’s Loose Women, appeared in high spirits on the red carpet alongside former Simon Cowell squeeze Sinitta and Kerry Katona, who appeared the picture of a loved-up couple with her third husband George Kay.
The big winners on the night included BBC1 shows The Apprentice, which won Best Reality TV Competition Show, and Strictly Come Dancing, which was voted Best Entertainment Show.
