Finger food that takes the biscuit

-

WE ALL know the guilty pleasure of dipping your finger into peanut butter or chocolate spread — then putting it straight in your mouth.

Now an Italian designer has gone one better, with an edible thimble that allows you to indulge without getting your hands dirty.

Paolo Ulian was inspired by his love of Nutella to come up with the finger biscuit, which sits on the end of the finger and keeps the jar hygienic — simply dip and devour.

While he showcased the creation a few years ago, it hasn’t yet left the drawing board, so fans are making their own version (albeit not one you can eat whole). Just grease a metal thimble, wrap in a thin layer of pastry and bake it in the oven.
