Tasty Cranswick
CRANSWICK, which makes sandwiches and charcuterie, said first-half sales should increase by 10pc.
The food producer saw strong demand for its sausage, bacon and cooked meats, and posted a 7pc rise in underlying sales.
It also benefited from diversifying into cooked poultry with the acquisition of Benson Park.
The shares rose 93p to 1689p at the close yesterday despite saying that it expected market conditions to ‘remain competitive through the second half of the year’.
Cranswick will report its interim results next month.
