YOGI DELAYS SFA CASE FOR DENTIST

JOHN HUGHES was allowed to miss a disciplinary hearing at Hampden yesterday — because he had to go to the dentist. The Caley boss, asked to explain allegedly critical comments he made about referee Andrew Dallas, had a new date set for a fortnight’s time. ‘I had a dentist appointment,’ he said. ‘Trust me, the trouble I’ve had with my molars since I’ve come up here. I’ve needed all four replacing and have had the final one done. The hearing will be in a few weeks and that will take care of itself.’
