Joan’s novel? It’s Ab Fab, darling. . .

THERE’S no denying who’s the top dog. Dame Joan Collins was holding court last month in the South of France with Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders in attendance.

Dame Joan, 82, looked very relaxed in a white kaftan and orange sun hat while her chapeau-ed companions stand beside her.

‘I travelled to the glamorous Grand Hotel du Cap in Antibes to shoot a cameo in the Absolutely Fabulous movie,’ Joan explained before posting the photo. ‘I can say Mesdames Saunders and Lumley looked extremely fetching in their gloriously over-decorated kaftans, adorned with plenty of bling.’ Joanna, 69, and Jennifer, 57, put on a convincing display of enthralment as they read Joan’s new novel, The St Tropez Lonely Hearts Club. Well, they are actors after all.
