Health food queen Ella celebrates engagement

JUST days after health food guru Ella Woodward was attacked by a horde of veggie fans for opening a meatserving deli, the 23-year-old was able to enjoy herself.

The daughter of Tory turncoat Shaun Woodward lived up to her sobriquet Deliciously Ella as she beamed with joy in a red lace dress next to her smiling fiance Matthew Mills, above, son of Tessa Jowell, at their engagement party in London.

‘All our friends and family were there and Matthew and I catered the party with our new company, the Mae Deli, which was great,’ she tells me. ‘On a weekend filled with such hatred it felt really special to celebrate our love and engagement with all our favourite people.

‘My best friends came over from New York to go wedding dress shopping with me, my family came in from all over the world for our party and I’ve really never felt so much love and happiness.’
