DRINKING won’t just create the ‘beer goggles’ effect — where being tipsy seems to make you find others more attractive than you would ordinarily. A University of Bristol study has found that drinking, in moderation, could make you more alluring to others, too. People who had one large glass of wine were perceived as more attractive than sober ones. The researchers put it down to the drinkers’ flushed faces, relaxed demeanour and happy mood.
