Villa consider Austin move
ASTON VILLA manager Remi Garde is weighing up a January bid for QPR striker Charlie Austin, as he seeks to improve his options up front for the Premier League’s bottom club. The 26-year-old (right) has scored seven goals in 12 games in the Championship this season and is out of contract at Loftus Road in the summer. QPR are demanding £12million for Austin and rejected offers from Leicester and Crystal Palace in the close season. However, their stance may well depend on their Championship position come January. Villa are the joint lowest scorers in the Premier League.
