Mega-winners buy £6m country pile ... and fork out £650,000 stamp duty
THEY already have a luxury home which cost a tidy sum.
But Euromillions winners Nigel and Justine Page have now splashed out a cool £6million on a new pad.
The eight-bedroom house set in 23 acres also landed them with a £650,000 bill, just for stamp duty.
Their Grade II-listed Cotswold abode is only 15 minutes down the road from the eco house they bought after netting £56million five years ago
They put the five-bedroom and fivebathroom property on the market last year for £4.5million but it is not budging. The couple reportedly decided to move after former estate agent Mrs Page, 47, became ‘bored’ and wanted a home she could renovate and ‘put her stamp on’.
The purchase of the elegant mansion near Cirencester, Gloucester-
‘Bored with £4.5m home’
shire, is one of the biggest in the West Country last year. It is behind only the £9million sale by Liz Hurley of her home in Ampney Knowle and the Somerset property bought by Labour peer Lord Allen for £10million.
The Pages’ grand property boasts a reception hall, drawing room, dining room, sitting room, guest accommodation and cottage in the grounds.
After their win in 2010, the couple gave their £400,000 home in Cirencester to their cleaner.
They moved to the eco home nearby with their three children which had been made it almost 100 per cent carbon neutral in a £2million revamp by designer Paul Lavelle.
