HONG KONG DUO HELP DELIVER £6.5m LOANS

-

RANGERS have announced that two new Hong Kong-based lenders helped provide £6.5million in loans over the last month. Supporters Barry Scott and Andy Ross were among the contributors to funds that repaid the £5m loan from Sports Direct and provided working capital. The Ibrox club already had a Hong Kong link through banker George Taylor, one of the Three Bears consortium who put forward money in the latest soft loans. A club statement read: ‘The facilities have been provided by existing lenders New Oasis Asset Limited (Dave King), Douglas Park, George Letham and George Taylor and by three new lenders, RIFC director John Bennett and Hong Kong-based fans, Barry Scott and Andy Ross.’
