ISLE OF BUTE JAZZ FESTIVAL

Until Monday, Argyll & the Isles ENJOY a weekend of jazz in the lovely Victorian town of Rothesay on Bute. The festival has been running since 1988 and has a strong focus on New Orleans and traditiona­l jazz, with a sprinkling of more modern styles. BONFEST

Until Sunday, Kirriemuir, Angus BONFEST 2016 will celebrate its tenth anniversar­y with a special tribute to one of Kirriemuir’s best known sons – the unveiling of a life-size bronze statue of legendary AC/DC singer Bon Scott.
