FINALISE PRE-SEASON PLANS

-

A blindingly obvious one, but Rodgers will have to approve a plan of preparation ahead of that crucial opening European assignment on July 12 or 13. Last season, Ronny Deila chose to remain in Scotland, playing a series of friendly matches at St Mirren’s ground to avoid any travelling disruption. However, that stay-athome policy failed to bear fruit as his side fell short of the group stage for a second successive season. Celtic are thought to have already lined up a possible training camp in central Europe between late June and early July, with Rodgers now set to have the final say.
