‘Cesspit’ topics that threaten to engulf all of us

-

I was distressed to see, in the programme Naked attraction, amoral promiscuity so blatantly inflicted on TV audiences. I agree with Christopher stevens’s strong comments. who are the TV executives who authorise the making of these porn TV programmes? Do they not have children or teenagers in their families, who can see this stuff for themselves and be affected by it? To use people as objects for pleasure and not as human beings with feelings and emotions is criminal. what was formerly exceptional is becoming the norm, and parents have every right to be concerned in this digital age. But they are being ignored by the so-called regulatory bodies appointed by governments. If our tapwater made us ill, all efforts to trace the cause would be demanded urgently. But with pollution of the mind and its sadly inevitable consequences, which include loss of trust and relationship breakdown, no one seems to want an urgent inquiry set up to stem the flow of ‘cesspit’ topics that threatens to engulf us all. without action, the future seems bleak for us all, with respect lost for both ourselves and others.
