PICK OF THE DAY
CHILD GENIUS: THE FINAL, 8PM, CH4
JUST five extraordinary children remain to battle it out as the search for Britain’s most gifted child reaches its nail-biting conclusion. After a specialist round — the chosen (yes, by the kids themselves) subjects include public health, Margaret Thatcher’s premiership, sanitation in the Victorian era, and morphological and behavioural mimicry in arthropods — the two most outstanding contestants go head to head, with Richard Osman (pictured) firing questions on maths, spelling and general knowledge. Will it be Saffy, Rhea, Georgia, Stephen or Jonathan who holds their nerve to lift the title?
