SHE claimed it took just three steps to go from bare-faced to fully made-up.
But Victoria Beckham was accused of covering up the truth yesterday by fans watching her Five Minute Face make-up tutorial video – as they say she had been wearing foundation and mascara before she began.
The 42-year-old former Spice Girl had been promoting Estee Lauder as she applied eye make-up, lipstick and blusher in a video posted to Vogue magazine’s Instagram page.
But many were quick to criticise the post, which had more than 300,000 views within a matter of hours yesterday.
One said: ‘She’s clearly wearing make-up before she starts,’ while another added: ‘If you believe this lie you gullible as hell yeah, I know damn well it did not take her five minutes to do her face.’
Another Instagram user said: ‘Well, she had her foundation and contouring done already and the video sped up when she did her eyes and lips.’
The video begins by showing the mother-of-four talking on the phone in a dressing gown _ while supposedly free of any make-up.
She then sits and daubs on eye shadow followed by eye liner, before a quick swipe of lipstick. Finally, she brushes a gentle coat of highlighter along her nose and on the high points of her cheeks and temples, before saying: ‘Just need to do my hair and then I am ready.’
Mrs Beckham announced her make-up line with Estee Lauder earlier this year. She told Vogue she had been hoarding make-up since she was 18.

Local expert Tim Swannie of home hunts said: ‘it is in a stunning location outside the village of Bargemon. We get a lot of interest in property in that area because you get a real feeling of being in authentic Provence, yet you’re within easy reach of the Riviera.
‘i am confident it would be able to achieve between £2 million and £2.5 million.’
