MY heartiest congratulations to your columnist John MacLeod on his analysis of our would-be king of Scotland, Alex Salmond (Mail).

This man is a legend in his own mind who would have subjected Scots to a lifetime of poverty on the back of his own grand delusions of striding through the corridors of power as our leader.
