Alyn’s entreaty

SHOULD Alyn Smith lose out in the vote to become SNP deputy leader, I take it he will just beg the party membership not to ‘let him down’ – just as he implored fellow MEPs to MARK Carney’s job as Governor of the Bank of England has taken him to ‘offbeat’ locations, including Saskatoon in Canada (Mail). This city is known for its sound economic base. I’d think he was interested in how it achieved this.
