At 69, Ronnie’s a little long in the tooth for kids’ birthday parties!
HE was overjoyed at becoming a father again at a ripe old age.
But reality seemed to catch up with Ronnie Wood as for the first time in more than a quarter of a century he endured the event that even much younger parents can find stressful – a children’s birthday party.
The 69-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist and his wife Sally Humphreys, 38, took three-monthold twins Gracie Jane and Alice Rose to a celebrity-filled bash on Sunday to mark the first birthday of Wood’s granddaughter Honey Krissy Wood.
And as he left, the rocker seemed a little weary – but soon summoned up the energy for a trip to the pub.
Honey is the daughter of rocker Jesse Wood, the Rolling Stone’s son from his first marriage to Krissy Findlay. Honey’s mother is TV presenter Fearne Cotton, 35, who married Jesse in 2014. The couple also have a son Rex, three.
Guests at the flamingo-themed party at their home in West Lonton don included Miss Cotton’s best friend Holly Willoughby, 35.
The This Morning presenter, who wore a studded leather jacket, patterned tea dress and white trainers, turned up with daughter Belle, five, and oneyear-old son Chester.
Also at the party were style guru Gok Wan, comedian Russell Brand and his pregnant girlfriend Laura Gallacher. Miss Cot- posted on Instagram a picture of Wan, Honey’s godfather, carrying the ginger-haired toddler, who wore a floral dress.
Guests were welcomed into a room that former Top Of The Pops presenter Miss Cotton had filled with white, pink, black and gold balloons and pink feathers. They then went into the garden, which had plastic pink flamingos positioned in the flower beds.
