CAPITAL GAINS

-

Fund manager Aberdeen Asset Management has been told by the Financial Conduct Authority to increase the minimum level of capital it holds.

The regulator told the firm to raise its capital position from £335m to £475m. Aberdeen said that it has previously kept its extra capital at £435m to allow for extra headroom and that it ‘remains comfortably above this new minimum requirement’.
