Kate’s got talent: Now model is to launch her own agency

SHE was scouted by a modelling agent at the age of 14 and is still at the top of her game 28 years later.

Now Kate Moss plans to use her wealth of experience to help others become stars, revealing yesterday that she is setting up a talent agency.

She claimed the management company, which will be launched later this month, will represent singers and actors.

‘I want to focus more on managing people’s careers than just running a modelling agency,’ she told the website Business of Fashion. ‘I don’t really want pretty people. I want people that want to sing and dance and act. I want to create stars.’

Miss Moss, who has a 13-year-old daughter, was discovered by Storm Models while at JFK airport, in New York, in 1988. She announced she was leaving the agency in March, in a bid to ‘spread her wings’ and be taken more seriously.

The 42-year-old model, who is reported to have a fortune of £100million, said setting up the Kate Moss Agency has allowed her to feel more in control of her career.

‘I didn’t realise how much it was going to change the way I feel because it is like taking responsibility … instead of being sent on jobs to turn up and just be whatever they want you to be,’ she said.
