Fairy cakes, anybody?

BOOKIES have installed a new odds-on favourite for this year’s prestigious Here We Go Looby Loo Awards.

She’s self-styled historian Louise Raw, a trades union activist and columnist with the communist Morning Star newspaper.

Looby Louise has launched a campaign to stop Marks & Sparks selling Empire Pie, an Indian version of Shepherd’s Pie with spices and mango chutney instead of gravy. She accuses the readymeal, which has been on sale for a year, of being complicit in genocide, ranting that the British Empire killed and oppressed millions of innocent native people.

Once Empire Pie has been consigned to the dustbin of history, Looby Lou is setting her sights on Cottage Pies and Mince Pies, both of which are obviously ‘homophobic’ slurs aimed at the gay community.
