THE next stop on Si and Dave’s (pictured) poultry-themed adventure is Morocco, where they discover that chicken is relatively new on the North African menu, having only gained popularity in the Seventies. Dishes this week include a chicken tagine with preserved lemons, while the eggs go into a rose and pistachio ice cream, which helps the boys to cool down.

SCOTT JONES, 17, was the 2013 F34 shot put world champion and is an aspiring Paralympian, with his sights set on Tokyo in 2020. Tonight, with a little help from Nick Knowles and the team, his dream gets a little bit closer — after they make over his Cheltenham home, Scott will have a fit-for-purpose place to live and train.

EDINBURGH 250 years ago, overcrowded and run-down, was a city out of step with the nation’s golden age. And so, a competition was launched to design a new, modern suburb. The winner was local 26year-old architect James Craig, and this fascinating documentary tells the story of how Auld Reekie, thanks to Craig’s masterpiece of urban planning, was transformed into the exemplary Georgian city.
