FOOTBALL Rangers v Queen of the South, 7.15pm, BT Sport 1

FORMER Tottenham striker Niko Kranjcar scored one and set up two in Rangers’ 5-0 thrashing of Peterhead to reach this quarterfinal of the League Cup, which they’ve won a record 27 times.

FANTASY DRAMA Lucifer, Amazon Prime

TOM ELLIS (Miranda) has an absolute ball as the Devil in an unpredictable drama that has him fighting injustice — at least, the kind he dislikes — in LA. Season two features the arrival of his mum (Tricia Helfer). A new episode arrives every Tuesday.

MIAMI CRIME Rosewood, 8pm, Alibi

THIS is regularly Alibi’s top show, and it’s easy to see why: pathologist Dr Rosewood (Morris Chestnut, pictured) is a very watchable character, all swagger on the surface but vulnerable underneath. That vulnerability is definitely on display tonight, when a playboy pal takes an interest in his friend, Detective Villa.

IS IT ART? Bricks!, 9pm, BBC4

IN 1976, 120 bricks were placed on the floor of London’s Tate gallery and described as art. ‘They paid a lot of money for a pile of old bricks,’ reported John Craven at the time — and taxpayers’ money, too, in a time of recession. The controversy rumbled on for months, and this highly accessible new documentary lays it all out with glee.

COMEDY DRAMA Mount Pleasant, 9pm, Sky 1

IT’S two days until the wedding, and Greg and Tanya are adamant that there will be no hen or stag do — so guaranteeing that both will happen. . . Don’t miss Roger’s

face-off with the new vicar.

FREEVIEW FILM Cop Land, 9pm, Movie Mix

DOUR but wellexecuted crime story, with Sylvester Stallone as a New Jersey sheriff who is sucked into the corruption of cops in nearby New York City. It’s great to see Sly holding his own beside a supporting cast more at home in this kind of film — namely Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel.

SINGLES SCENE First Dates Abroad, 10pm, E4

AFTER the return of the British show to Channel 4 yesterday, the Australian spin-off is back for a new run. It’s an acrobatic edition, with those looking for love including a circus performer named Dakota — cue clips of her doing the splits — and stuntman Corey, who actually does a backflip for the camera.

FUNNY MOVIE Welcome To Me, 10.05pm, Sky Premiere

THERE are pot shots at the oversharing of the modern, self-obsessed world in this more-hit-than-miss comedy. Kristen Wiig (pictured) is a mentally unstable lottery winner who stops taking her pills and gets herself on a TV show so that she can share her thoughts (of which there are many) with the world.

EDUCATING BRITAIN The Grammar School: A Secret History, 11pm, BBC4

IN THE past, grammar schools offered an opportunity for social mobility, and they could be set for a return. This instructive film traces their history by interviewing old boys, such as David Attenborough, and exploring how the schools fostered team spirit.
