Pippa takes stolen photos battle to the High Court
PIPPA Middleton has turned to the High Court in a bid to keep secret 3,000 images stolen from her iCloud account.
Lawyers for the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister applied for an emergency injunction at the weekend – after a hacker tried to sell the photos to the media.
They will return to court today to ask for the move to be made permanent, preventing the images from being published. Any breach could be punished by a prison sentence.
Miss Middleton, 33, is understood to be extremely upset after her personal photos – stored on the back-up service for iPhones – were accessed by a mystery figure. The pictures stolen are said to include photographs of her at a wedding dress fitting ahead of her forthcoming marriage to banker James Matthews, 41.
Scotland Yard are investigating the case amid concerns that sensitive information about senior royals could be made public.
Website builder Nathan Wyatt, 35, was arrested over the breach at his home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, at the weekend. He has since been released on bail.
Miss Middleton’s lawyer did not respond to requests for comment. Her spokesman declined to comment.
