Mother’s plea for missing son
A SCOTS mother has made an emotional appeal to find her military policeman son after he vanished at the weekend while on a night out.
Fears are growing for 23-yearold Corrie McKeague, pictured, after the RAF serviceman was last seen on CCTV in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, at 3.23am on Saturday.
His mother Nicola Urquhart, of Dunfermline, issued a Facebook plea for help to trace him. She wrote: ‘Please contact Suffolk police with any information. Thank you.’
By last night, her plea had been shared more than 14,500 times.
An RAF spokesman said: ‘Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time. The civilian police are leading the investigation and it would not be appropriate to comment or speculate.’
Mr McKeague is described as white, 5ft 10in, of medium build and with short, light brown hair. He was wearing a pink polo shirt and white jeans.
