SAM ALLARDYCE may be thrown off the League Managers’ Association nine-man executive committee.

Sportsmail understands that committee members are waiting for direction from chief executive Richard Bevan and an emergency board meeting could be held to discuss Allardyce’s LMA future. The LMA issued a statement expressing concern at allegations in the Telegraph about Allardyce and unnamed managers this week. It said: ‘We take the allegations very seriously as they are obviously damaging to the game.’
