Corbyn and a sinking feeling

-

A SENSE of humour may not be Loony Leftie Jeremy Corbyn’s strong suit, but I hear that he checked into the Titanic the night before the Labour leadership result came through.

The ‘luxury hotel of the year’ — where a presidential suite will set high-fliers back more than £400 a night — is so named because the ill-fated liner was registered in Liverpool, where this year’s fractious Labour Party Conference was held.

It is not known whether the leader spent his night there trying to erase the lines on his face in the Corby trouser press or re-arranging the deckchairs.
