DMGT RESULTS
DMGT, owner of the Daily mail, announced a 4pc rise in revenue and said a stable performance would see full-year results in line with market expectations.
Profit is expected to reach between £237m and £256m for the financial year ending today, with revenues between £1.8bn and £1.9bn. In a preclose trading update for the 11 months to August it said advertising revenues from MailOnline rose by £13m, offset by a decline of £20m at the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
MailOnline’s monthly unique browsers in August 2016 stood at 248m, up 14pc on last year. It also announced a £50m restructuring plan. Shares rose 2.2pc, or 15.5p, to 729p.
