SALES BOOST

Technology firm QinetiQ said sales for 2017 will be slightly better than last year.

But the former government agency that was privatised in 2001 said performance of its Global Products business, which makes parts for satellites, remains dependent on the timing and shipment of key orders.

The shares increased 1.5pc, or 3.6p, to 236.3p.
