Time for Cheryl to ring changes

SO Cheryl Fernandez-Whatshername is plain old Cheryl again after her divorce from French businessman Jean-Bernard was granted this week in a mere 14 seconds. The marriage, which imploded after 18 months, appears to have been unpleasant. Cheryl, left, stated on the official divorce papers that her ex-husband’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ had caused her stress and weight loss. Sounds like she’s better off out of it. Less clear cut, however, is her seeming decision to hold on to a ring Fernandez-Whatshisname gave her that belonged to his late mother. Even when splits go bad, handing back the ring is always the classy thing to do. Especially when it’s a family heirloom.
