Camilla cherry picks a quirky new clutch bag
THE Queen is so fond of Launer’s distinctive £1,550 leather handbags that she is said to own more than 200 of them. Our future queen Camilla prefers a more quirky selection. Yesterday the Duchess of Cornwall carried a £105 Kayu woven straw envelope clutch bag covered in a cherry print during her visit to the United Arab Emirates. It was just the latest in a colourful selection sported by Camilla, who once took a sequined clutch shaped like a tin of Heinz beans to a charity event in Chelsea. On another occasion, she sported a bag embroidered with a First Class stamp, complete with the Queen’s head.
