Pixie says yes to her model man’s proposal
PIXIE LOTT only made it to the quarter-finals on Strictly Come Dancing two years ago, but she’s a winner when it comes to matters of the heart.
The 25-year-old pop singer accepted a marriage proposal yesterday from M&S model Oliver Cheshire, 28, who popped the question on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral.
‘So happy,’ said Pixie as she showed off her sparkler to fans online. ‘Best surprise ever. I cried my eyes out.’
The couple, who met at a party thrown by fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood six years ago, toasted their engagement with a glass of champagne.
Pixie, who has just completed a West End run as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s, had said in July: ‘We’re not thinking about marriage yet, we’re just really happy the way things are.’
