Better-known for his everyman roles, Glenn Ford (pictured with Hayworth) here excels as gambler Johnny, who loved and lost Gilda — but can’t let her go.

SIX teams of scientists are followed across Earth’s least-explored continent for this new series, which features plenty of impressive vistas. Funnily enough, though, it’s in the mundane details — daily life on Scott Base, for instance — that it really comes to life.

THIS follow-up to 1999’s The Best Man catches up with the circle of friends as they settle into middle age. Lance and Mia (Morris Chestnut) invite the old gang to spend Christmas with them, where surprises and sadness await.
