Slaughter the pigs

Berlin truck terrorist’s chilling declaration of support for IS as he vowed to punish ‘crusaders’

- By Josh White

THE Berlin lorry killer pledged allegiance to Islamic State and vowed to punish ‘crusader pigs’ in a rant captured on a selfie-style video released by the terror group.

Anis Amri can be seen wearing a dark jacket and headphones while standing on a bridge as he delivers his chilling speech, warning that he wants to become a martyr.

The brainwashed 24-year-old went on to slaughter 12 people in the heart of Berlin on Monday night.

The video, which appears to have been taken on a mobile phone, shows him standing on a footbridge in the north of Berlin, not far from where he hijacked the truck used in the attack. And the site is just a few hundred yards from a Berlin state administration office that deals with asylum matters.

It is unclear whether Amri’s case was handled there or whether the video, released online yesterday, was taken before or after the attack. Expounding his hate-filled views, he says: ‘There are masses of Muslims all over the world willing to avenge the Muslims you kill, and they will be avenged, for we are strong and determined to make you pay the price of your actions against them. And I call for my Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world to take part in jihad, and to fight for the dominance of this religion, as much as each of you can.

‘If you can’t join your brothers on the front lines, then fight for Islam in your countries.’

He also says: ‘I pledge my allegiance to the caliph Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi. I pledge to participate in jihad against the enemies of Allah.

‘My message to those infidels who bomb Muslims every day – we are going to slaughter you like pigs. We will avenge the Muslims you killed and continue to kill.

‘And to my Muslim brothers all over the world, fight for this religion whether in your countries or in Europe if you live there, as much as each of you can.’ Later, he adds: ‘I pledge myself to Allah and vow to shed as

‘He died the day he backed Daesh’

much blood as it needs for Islam to prevail. I pray for Allah to pave the way for me to kill those infidels who fight Islam and Muslims.’

As well as his pledge of allegiance, Amri declared his desire to avenge Muslims killed in air strikes and called for attacks against ‘crusaders’.

The killer’s family in Tunisia said he had died ‘the day he swore allegiance to Daesh’.

Brother Abdul Kader Amri said: ‘I know he had a criminal record but I didn’t think that he would ever become a terrorist.’

‘He did not call us when they published his picture – that’s what convinced us that he was the one who carried out this terrorist attack.

‘We are sorry for the death of Anis, but he did not die today, he died the day after he swore allegiance to Daesh.’

And his mother, Nour El Houda Hassani, 65, had said: ‘I want the truth to be revealed about my son. Either someone stole his papers and left them under the seat so that he would be incriminated, or they want to show that it’s this dog of the Islamic State group at the origin of this attack.’

Releasing suicide videos of terror attackers after their deaths is a common tactic by IS.

In July, fanatics were shot dead after murdering an elderly priest at a church in Normandy.

A day later, IS news outlet Amaq published a video of the two perpetrators, again pledging allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
