TODAY

Hamilton Accies v Celtic (12.30pm, Sky Sports 1) We kick off the Christmas football with the Scottish champions in action. Brendan Rodgers’ team are already 14 points clear and should extend their unbeaten record against a Hamilton side who have gone eight games without a win.

BOXING DAY

Watford v Crystal Palace (12.30pm, Sky Sports 1) HoW will Palace fare in their first match with Sam Allardyce in charge? This is the first of eight Premier League games in a Boxing Day bonanza, with leaders Chelsea hosting Bournemout­h, Arsenal facing West Brom and David Moyes returning to old Trafford with Sunderland. Hull City v Man City (5.15pm, Sky Sports 1) HuLL are in desperate need of some festive cheer. Mike Phelan’s side hit the woodwork three times against West Ham — and face a Man City side expecting to build on their comeback win against Arsenal. Newcastle United v Sheffield Wednesday (7.45pm, Sky Sports 1) CoMPLeTe a Boxing Day hat-trick at St James’ Park. Rafa Benitez’s leaders have scored three or more goals in six of their ten home games so far this season.

TUESDAY 27th

Liverpool v Stoke (5.15pm, Sky Sports 1) exPeCT goals when Jurgen Klopp’s boys are in action. Spurs and Liverpool are the only teams unbeaten at home in the Premier League, the Reds having ended everton’s run on Monday. Striker Divock origi bagged a brace in this game last season.

WEDNESDAY 28th

Southampto­n v Tottenham (7.45pm, Sky Sports 1) MAuRiCio PoCHeTTino lost all four league games to Spurs as Southampto­n boss so will be hoping this fixture sees a return to form following Southampto­n’s first victory in eight league games against Tottenham in May. St Johnstone v Rangers (7.45pm, BT Sport 1) RAngeRS will be looking to continue their impressive recent run of form. Mark Warburton’s side have won three Premiershi­p matches in a row for the first time this season. However, Tommy Wright’s St Johnstone will be no pushovers at Perth after claiming a point earlier in the season at ibrox.

FRIDAY 30th

Hull City v Everton (8pm, Sky Sports 1) THe hosts will hope to take advantage of an everton side who have struggled on the road. Ronald Koeman’s men have picked up just seven points from their eight matches away from goodison Park. Hearts v Aberdeen (7.45pm, BT Sport 2) THiRD and fourth square off at Tynecastle as both Hearts and Aberdeen look to keep pace with Rangers in the race for second. Derek Mcinnes’ Aberdeen side have stuttered recently but will provide stern opposition for ian Cathro’s fourth game in charge of Hearts.

HOGMANAY

Rangers v Celtic (12.15pm, Sky Sports 1 and 5) LAST but by no means least, the old Firm derby rounds off the football action of 2016. Brendan Rodgers’ side are unbeaten domestical­ly so far and crushed their rivals 5-1 at Parkhead earlier this year but Rangers will be out for revenge at ibrox.
