Left-leaning Institute for Public Policy Research is warning that Britain will be blighted for a decade by Brexit. The IPPR was run until very recently by Will Straw, son of former Labour cabinet minister Jack. more tellingly, Straw Jnr left the IPPR to head the mercifully useless Britain Stronger in europe campaign, which was on the losing side in the referendum. The IPPR also received £140,000 from the european Commission in 2014. I’m sure the two facts didn’t influence its report one iota.
