A MERE luxury hotel suite would have been far too mundane for Queen Beyonce when she headed to San Francisco last year for her Super Bowl half-time show performance. So instead she rented a glass mansion in the Los Altos Hills in California, described on Airbnb as no less than a ‘contemporary masterpiece’ of modern architecture. While it’s unlikely the singer would have been slaving over a hot stove herself during her stay last February, the kitchen boasts no fewer than six ovens and three dishwashers. That may go some way towards explaining why the cleaning fee alone for this five-bedroom house is £1,677. In the mornings, fresh fruit is available from the estate’s orchard of 60 trees. There is also a rooftop vegetable garden, chickens to provide fresh eggs and hives for fresh honey. No wonder Justin Bieber also checked in for a visit a month later.
