WEIGHT LOSS
I wanted to lose a bit of weight After the Christmas break, Not wanting to be a ‘beached whale’ But more a streamlined hake. So there I was determined To lose that seasonal flab, I thought I’d put to the ultimate test All those diet fads. I checked out on the internet For magazines and advice, From pills to liposuction — That didn’t look very nice! I looked at herbal remedies And having a liquidised lunch, I would even try a gastric band If it came to the absolute crunch! After some weeks of agonising Of what or what not to do, I had not lost one single ounce So my anxieties grew and grew! But now I have to tell you Of the weirdest thing: I cut down on my eating And my weight is plummeting!
