iT’S one of the year’s most hotly anticipated films and we’ve teamed up with Twentieth century Fox to offer you a unique opportunity to claim two FRee tickets to see it. Hidden Figures is the incredible, untold story of how three brilliant AfricanAmerican women working at nasa fought prejudice and broke down social barriers to help put astronaut John Glenn into space in 1962. Starring Octavia Spencer, who won an Academy Award for The Help, Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monae, as well as Kevin costner, the movie has been nominated for three Oscars and has already won a host of major awards. Telling the story of Dorothy Vaughan, Katherine Johnson and Mary Jackson, the film reveals how the women served as the brains behind one of the space race’s key missions as Glenn became the first American astronaut to orbit the earth. But as well as battling the technical difficulties of space travel, they also had to fight the prejudices of segregation and sexism, giving the film its emotional, powerful heart.
