Unlucky-in-love Scarlett divorces hubbie No2
SHE recently described her marriage as a ‘huge transition’, and admitted she did not find monogamy a ‘natural thing’.
Now it seems Scarlett Johansson’s reservations may have proved too much for her second husband Romain Dauriac.
The 32-year-old actress has filed for divorce from the French journalist after just two years of marriage, according to the New York Post.
She has reportedly claimed the relationship was ‘irretrievably broken’ and is now set for a fierce custody battle over the couple’s daughter Rose. It is claimed that Avengers star Miss Johansson is asking a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to give her primary custody of the three-year-old.
A source said she wanted a schedule whereby she has Rose for three days and then Dauriac, 34, takes her for two days.
But yesterday Dauriac’s lawyer said he was taken aback by the request, as he has been the ‘primary parent’ while Miss Johansson has been filming. Hal Mayerson said Dauriac plans to petition the court to take the child to live with him in his native France, but that Miss Johansson will have ‘access to her daughter any time she wants to come to Paris’.
He added: ‘Mr Dauriac is tired of having to run his life and his child’s life based on Ms Johansson’s shooting schedule.’
Miss Johansson, who was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds, 40, wed Dauriac in 2014, shortly after their daughter was born. It was reported two months ago that they had separated.
