FUNNY FILM Central Intelligence, 1.05pm, 8pm, Sky Premiere

RELYING mostly on sight gags, Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are old school pals — mismatched in both size and skill — who embark on an incongruously fun adventure after one of them joins the CIA.

TEEN DRAMA 13 Reasons Why, Netflix

DRENCHED in angst and cool music choices, this new U.S. show feels a bit like the midNineties Claire Danes drama My So-Called Life. It unpacks the life of a schoolgirl (Katherine Langford, pictured) through a cache of cassettes she leaves behind after her suicide — can the revelations on them be trusted? The series keeps you guessing — and hooked.

THE merry-go-round of Derby managers goes on, with new boss Gary Rowett — who played more than 100 times for the club — in charge of his first home game since replacing Steve McClaren.

RUGBY LEAGUE Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors, 7.30pm, Sky Sports 2

THE Super League’s past two champions meet. Leeds followed their 2015 treble with a huge dip last year. Now, though, they’re level on points with leaders Castleford, while reigning champions Wigan are just one point behind.

EN POINTE BBC Young Dancer 2017, 8pm, BBC4

SITCOM FAMILY Carters Get Rich, 8pm, Sky 1

SURPRISINGLY humdrum new comedy from Sky, about a British family who suddenly become millionaires when one of the children invents a clever app. The children are good fun, as is James Van Der Beek (pictured with Kerry Godliman, Rhashan Stone, Rio Chambers and Rhiana Merralls) as the eccentric tech titan who buys the app, but this feels more like an idea than a show.

BEARS ON THE LINE Railroad Alaska, 9pm, Quest

ANIMALS are part of the fabric of life in Alaska. The bears are waking up in this new episode of the engrossing reality series, and the humans are on the defensive. We also meet Stubbs, the honorary mayor of Talkeetna — a cat.

COMIC-BOOK COP Lucky Man, 9pm, Sky 1

HARRY spends this series trying to please the four women in his life: his estranged wife, Anna, his colleague Suri and the two warring lucky bracelet ladies, Eve and Isabella. Tonight, he learns more about Isabella’s past, and the comically dour DI Orwell reveals a surprising understanding of art.

FREEVIEW SCI-FI Prometheus, 9pm, E4

RIDLEY SCOTT returns to Alien, the chilling, visceral and atmospheric 1979 sci-fi horror that made his name. This prequel/reboot asks big questions and was too ponderous for some. Michael Fassbender is the android David, filled with wonder.

TOPICAL HUMOUR Comedy Bigmouths, 10pm, My5 TV

ROSS NOBLE is the first guest in a new show for Ch5’s lesser-known Freeview channel. It’s a mix of topical stand-up and sketches, with the guest comedian joining a regular roster of comics that includes Zoe Lyons and Jo Caulfield. (Freeview 54, Freesat 133, Sky 175, Virgin 152)
