A big congratulations for a small gesture

BRAVO to Victoria Derbyshire, who this week took off the wig she has been wearing since chemotherapy caused most of her hair to fall out in 2015, and confessed that losing it was harder than the mastectomy she underwent. The hair that has grown back, she said, is ‘as thick as it was, if not thicker’. And you know what, she looks fabulous. Congratulations on your recovery, Victoria, and for showing that for women struggling with breast cancer, it’s the little things that can often make a big difference.
